Arriving in Hong Kong Disneyland

We traveled via Air China to Hong Kong today.  It was good practice for when Mom, Liv and I go back to Chicago by ourselves.  We are now pros at the Beijing airport and going through customs.

This is the food they gave us on the plane.  We thought the flight attendant said "Chicken and rice" but really she said "Chicken and noodles or seafood rice"  We ended up with the seafood rice which smelled really awful and the rice was more of a brick than actual rice.  I thought that the bun couldn't be tainted by awfulness so I bit into it only to find it was filled with congealed bean curd.  Delicious.

We successfully landed and arrived at the Hollywood Hotel in Hong Kong Disneyland.  This is our view from the room:

The hotel is very cute!  Lots of Mickeyified objects, which is always fun.

Our hotel room has a funky curved wall as you can see above.

After getting settled in the hotel room we went downstairs to have dinner at Chef Mickey's.  Which is a buffet style restaurant.  We decided that dessert was much better than the actual food offerings but check out this adorable BBQ pork bun that I ate:

Yep, it's a little pig.  This is the land of cuteness.

And since I have access to YouTube now I thought I would share with you what all of our long car rides throughout Shijiazhuang were like, Presenting Louis and Angela The Car Ride Experience:
