Hong Kong Disneyland Day Two

The first thing we did in the park was a lot of shopping.   Mom got some really nice necklaces at the fancy jewelry store (which is a branch of one of the oldest jewelry stores in Hong Kong) And while we were there this couple came in.  The girl proceeded to look around the store and try on a bunch of items while the dude did this:

He must be thrilled.

All of the Disney workers have English names on their name tags.   But a lot of them aren't really names, we have seen "Zero" and "Man".  Above we have "Bravo" and "Fanny" (yes I know Fanny is a name, but it's rather outdated)

More really bad English printed shirts.  Above reads:

"be friend this anima
Bag hlend nihe you giran
Tedsbrsare, andRnoning that
Mielap it for the rest of my life"

Wat.

I chased this little kid to a popcorn cart to get this one.  "Denim Oh Denim Muffin Club"

The newest thing in Hong Kong Disneyland is Toy Story Land, it is so far the only place to see this.  It says "Asia exclusive" so I assume they are putting on in Shanghai or Tokyo.

Toy Story themed areas are always stupidly cute because they involve giant Tinkertoys and crayons.

That giant Slinky Dog is a little roller coaster that goes around in circles.  All of the rides are like amusement park rides.  There is a parachute drop (Army Men) and also U shaped track that looks like Hotwheels track.   It's basically a mini Vertical Velocity.

Toy Story Land is also home to the legendary pizza cone.

They seriously like English words.  There are several of these little signs directing you to Toy Story Land and all of them have a line to take a picture by it.  That's right, a line.  To take a picture by a "This Way" sign.

"Litter Kitty"

We saw this while waiting for the Lion King show but couldn't get close enough to get a good picture.  Then miraculously he was walking in front of us on our way out.  "Racing Win through Apple Smile"

After we were done in the park we went to check out the Disneyland Hotel.  Which is basically a mini Grand Floridian.  Look at these fancy chandeliers:

They had a ridiculous amount of ballrooms for the size of this place so weddings must be crazy popular here.

My next post will be about Christmas Eve in Hong Kong so prepare for festivities!
