Blogs I Read

Here is a list of blogs that I read that are all much better and more famous than my own:

Colossal
-Basically the most inspiring blog ever.  It's an art and design blog and each post will be the most amazing thing you've ever seen.  You will read a post and be like "Wow, that is unbelievable," then you will look at another post and be like, "That is even more unbelievable," and then 3 hours later you will still be doing that.

The Bloggess
-This is a very funny slice of life blog.  The author is hilarious and if you enjoy the blog you should definitely check out her book Let's Pretend This Never Happened which is an autobiography about her crazy life.

Mark Reads
Mark reads started when Mark agreed to read the entire Twilight series and blog about it.  He read the book chapter by chapter and posted a review of it after he was done.  He, of course, hated the books and rips them to teeny tiny shreds with each review and it is wonderful.  After reading Twilight he went onto read Harry Potter which he genuinely loved, but reading his reviews is still great because of his excellent reactions to plot twists.  Mark continues to read series, books, fan fiction and even watch shows and write great reviews about them!

Go Fug Yourself
A fashion blog that posts photos, reviews and funny comments about the clothing habits of the stars.  I'm not super into fashion at all but I enjoy this because of the witty comments about the outfits.  Also sometimes they write as certain stars *cough* Brittney Spears or Lindsay Lohan *cough* and it's highly amusing.

Spanky Stokes
This is a designer toy news blog.  If you are into designer toys or are wondering what the heck designer toys are you should check it out.  It's updated very frequently so there are a ton of posts.  I really enjoy this one because I love to see what other artists are working on and get inspired.

Disney Parks Blog
I'm a big fan of Disney, especially their theme parks so I like to check out all the new things that are happening there.  They also post fun things like recipes from restaurants in the parks, craft projects and contests.

Johnny Wander
Not really a blog but definitely my favorite webcomic!  It's an autobiographic slice of life comic so that's almost a blog.  The art is super cute and you can't not love a comic that involves a lot of comics about cats.

My Laptop has Returned!

Remember how I said I was going to update more frequently and then I didn't update for a few days? That's because on Tuesday morning when I opened up my laptop to turn it on, it... well didn't turn on.  Shortly thereafter Chad texted me because he found out he can't come into town for graduation like he was supposed to.

It wasn't a great start to the day, but, Chad is now using his plane ticket to come see me in April and Apple was able to give me a new graphics card for my laptop for free.  And I got a super cute new piggy bank.  So it ended up not being such a bad day in the end!

I have some Emily Uses the Internet type updates since yesterday and today have been like OMG USE THE LAPTOP FOR ALL OF THE THINGS

I'm now on Redmoon's website!  It's pretty cool to be on the website of a theater I totally have had the goal of working with since High School.  You can see my little artist bio page thingymabob here!  My name is totally spelled wrong (there should be two "n"s) but it's still cool.  Or at least, I think so.  I think it's kinda funny that there is that cute picture of me up there because this is what I actually look like when I'm at Redmoon:
Not the cutest.

I've been updating my webcomic, Sproots more frequently since I don't have this thing called homework to do as much anymore.  So, you should totally be keeping up with that if you weren't already.

I'm also getting back into the swing of sewing regularly which means there is actually new stuff on Etsy now!  Check out these new Puzzle Friends!

Awww besties!

Fun Fact, the burger place I work at is super close to our apartment so I am able to walk to work.  While on this walk I venture past quite a few odd places.  Mostly super weird resale and antique shops, but there is this one clock store that has some really strange things in their windows.

Super Creepy Death Hand Of Doom That is Also Holding A Phone, how useful
I don't know if this display is supposed to attract me in to buy a clock or clock repair services, but it totally is not working if that was the idea.  It repels me from going into the shop actually, because if this is what is on display in the window, what is lurking in the store within?
