Winston Barnaby Jones III

I rode the Metra out to Lisle the other day to meet my mom for ~shopping adventures~ Things I purchased (well, rather, things my mom purchased for me); a cute flowery dress, plain black shirt, cute panties and bras, and a jewelry rack for my dresser.

Oh and also a ceramic owl that is over a foot tall:
Here he is in all of his glory

I discovered this magical owl at Home Goods.  There was also a very large ceramic pig, but it was ultimately decided that the owl was way cuter.  My mom probably thought I was slightly insane but bought him for me anyway as I have a new apartment and that means decorating times!

Immediately upon bringing him home I discovered that he is actually a master of disguise.  I mean, look at how nicely he matches our fake fireplace.  He is even made out of the same material as the bricks on our fake fireplace!  What talent!

J.T. got to name him because when you bring a 18inch tall ceramic owl into the house it is only fair that your roommate gets to name him.   And so, Winston Barnaby Jones III, we welcome you into our humble home.  May you always guide our fake fireplace both fiercely and vigilantly.

J.T. and Winston spending some quality time together.
