In May I get to walk across the stage of the Chicago theater which will symbolize the fact that I have completed my undergrad degree. I will be wearing a black robe during this experience but it is traditional to look pretty under the black robe for after the actual walking, because of this I was on a dress hunt yesterday.
I like clothes, as in I like owning clothes that make me look cute, but I don't like shopping for clothes. I would like shopping for clothes if I could just pick something off the rack and then it would magically fit me, but this is not the case. You have to try things on and normally it is discouraging and kinda sucks.

Tiny boobs. No fun. |
This dress was very pretty, but also made me look like I have absolutely no boobs. I mean I know they are small but they still exist, not that you could tell based of this dress.
I then made Olivia try on this rainbow plaid thing that we found on the clearance rack:

Surprisingly not the most hideous thing
|
It was surprisingly not terrible, but the top ruffle does make it a bit much or it could have actually been adorable enough to buy.
We also found a dress with one of the worst patterned fabrics I have ever seen on the same clearance rack that rainbow plaid rufflepalooza came from.

A word of advice to designers, don't design fabric that just looks like it was stained. |
This pattern gives the impression that this dress was bleached and then rolled in fryer grease and garbage.
This dress was so bad I didn't even try it on for fun.

Dress Vagina |
That is probably the most unfortunately placed flower I have ever seen. Oh and yes that pink is the back of the dress so the dress is thigh length in the front and has a train in the back. Perhaps this is to emphasize the flower vag.
I did try on this awful dress for fun though. It's lime green, hot pink, neon purple Leopard print AND it has matching colored giant plastic gems.

The biggest hot mess of a prom dress ever. |
And the best part about this dress? It totally fit me better than any other dress I tried on that day.
|
This is my sexy pose. |
I considered getting this dress as my graduation dress because I am graduating from Columbia College Chicago, land of OMG I'M EXPRESSING MY INDIVIDUALITY but, then I would be wearing something because it's ironic and I don't really want to fully embrace full fledged hipsterdom at this current juncture.
So basically, I don't have a graduation dress yet.
