If One Picture is Worth a Thousand Words...

The last time I posted is when I adopted Ash... that's pretty sad isn't it?  Too make up for this absence I went through the photo roll on my iPhone and picked a bunch of pictures from the last few months.  It will be a fast summary and the large amount of photos will help me feel less terrible about not updating when I said I would.  YEP YOU GET PITY PICTURES: DEAL.

First off, my kitty is continues to be totally adorable as evidenced here:
Yes, I know her tags are huge,  find me more proportionate tags, I promise I will buy them
We kept her contained in the kitchen for a while with 3 baby gates stacked on top of each other... I had to pee one morning and only took down the bottom two but left the top one up.  I promptly ran into it with my face:
Sad off center Harry Potter
Ash also had her first vet visit.  She did not like it:
Not pleased with her carrier
I started to get EeeBeeDee ready for Anime Midwest and Comic Con by making a bunch of plush sushi:
Lots o' sushi plush
Chad went to Italy.  He played in the Umbria Jazz Fest and had an amazing time.  He also got this tattoo:
Italy Souvenir: It is the logo from the Umbria Jazz Fest, the words mean "Everything in a moment"
I got promoted at work, and could pay my own rent.  So I got this tattoo:
It's a Frank Lloyd Wright design.  I think it's beautiful and it's a Chicago momento.
Anime Midwest went well and I worked on making more stuff for Comic Con:
Lucky Owl Plush
Chicago Comic Con was a super fun time!  I made back over double my booth fee and it was generally awesome:

Look at all that plush!
One day before I left for work my closet imploded:
I actually had to dig myself out to get to work.
The shelves were always super janky and eventually they gave up the will to live:
Dilapidated shelves
But that's okay because now my closet looks like this:
Organization!  Or at least my version of it.
I got promoted at work again!  I don't have a photo to represent this, so here is a picture I took on one of my morning walks to work:
What lead to these circumstances?  Did they wish to recycle the Gumby costume?
I worked a bunch on my SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for my Etsy shop and it seems to be working, I've made 3 sales in the past 7 days!
Shameless plug for my Candy Baticorn Plush
This weekend my best friend got married!  I was the maid of honor and it was a super awesome time!
Getting ready times!
Chad took a train out for the occasion and even though he was here for only about 36 hours it was so great to have him there for the wedding!

Spiffy times
Everyone had a wonderful time at the wedding and I'm super happy for Liz and Mike!

Awww they love each other
So there you go.  That's 16 pictures, which is the equivalent of 16,000 words.  Now I'm officially overachieving on this blog, not slacking.  So there.
