I am officially done! Well, I mean I've been officially done since December so now I'm ceremonially done, I guess!
Since the G8 summit and Nato things are going to be imploding the Loop around the normal time of Columbia's graduation this year, Columbia had to bump up their dates a bit. Which means the normal venue of the UIC pavilion was not available and we got to graduate at:

The Chicago Theater! Pretty cool, right? |
This was pretty cool for us theater peeps!

Fancy graduation marquee |
See those flowers? My family was very nice and gave me roses for graduation... but the thing is, I don't have a vase.
|
A new movement in DIY living, the ice tea bottle and wine vase! |
After the graduation ceremony my family and I celebrated at The Clubhouse in Naperville where I was gifted a congratulations creme puff by the restaurant:

Mmmm tastes like learning |
So thank you very much family for celebrating with me ^_^
After graduation I still had one more undergrad activity left, which was the Michael Merritt Awards. This is an awards ceremony for the people who have won the awards, and beforehand an exhibition of emerging artists, grad students, and undergrad students. It's basically like senior showcase, except in the lobby of the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. There were 3 of us from Columbia who participated:

Claire Sangster, Myself, Rachel Boylan, we are all pretty cool peeps. |
So now that all of these exciting graduation times are over what am I going to do? Start making plush like a crazy person because my first ever anime convention artist alley is in July!!!
|
Since I posted about finding a graduation dress, I thought you might want to see the final pick, also we are all super cute. |
